Control Measures on Sejong-daero and Namdaemun-ro Roads
This weekend, a large-scale rally will be held in downtown Seoul, resulting in the closure of some roads.
The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency announced on the 29th that on the 30th afternoon, a rally and march organized by the Emergency Action Against the Veto Power will take place around Sejong-daero, Sajik-ro, and Namdaemun-ro, leading to partial road closures.

In the morning, a stage for the rally will be set up on Sejong-daero and Sajik-ro, and in the afternoon, a large-scale rally will be held at the same location. Afterwards, a march is scheduled on Namdaemun-ro and Toegye-ro, which is expected to cause traffic congestion.
The police will operate reversible lanes on the opposite side of the rally locations such as Sejong-daero and Sajik-ro, and during the march, reversible lanes will be operated on the opposite sides of Ujeongguk-ro and Namdaemun-ro in the direction opposite to the march. Additionally, traffic will be controlled for vehicles heading from Euljiro 2-ga intersection towards Euljiro Ipgu intersection and from Toegye-ro 2-ga intersection towards Toegye-ro 1-ga intersection, with vehicles being diverted towards Samil-daero and Sopa-ro.
A police official stated, "Due to the large-scale rally taking place in downtown Seoul this weekend, traffic congestion is expected. We ask that people use public transportation such as the subway whenever possible, and if it is unavoidable to use a vehicle, please check real-time traffic information in advance."
