The responsive left-turn signal is an advanced system that detects vehicle flow in real time to reduce unnecessary signal waiting and improve traffic efficiency. It is especially evaluated as effective in preventing signal violation accidents that frequently occur at intersections. Sinpung Intersection and Bamjae Intersection, where this project was applied, were locations with a high frequency of accidents, so traffic safety is expected to be significantly enhanced.

Through this project, devices were installed in the vehicles of 20 elderly drivers, allowing drivers to recognize danger through warning sounds when they deviate from their lanes. One driver who had the device installed through the support project expressed high satisfaction, saying, "I feel more secure when driving."

Lee Jae-i, Director of the Safety Disaster and Traffic Division, stated, "Responsive left-turn signals and support for elderly drivers play an important role in reducing traffic accidents and creating a safe road environment for residents," adding, "We will continue to improve the quality of life for residents through various traffic safety policies."
