Naver Chijijik, Exclusive Live Broadcast of 'LoL Kespa Cup' Naver's streaming platform Chijijik will exclusively broadcast all matches of the League of Legends esports tournament "2024 LoL KeSPA CUP (hereafter KeSPA Cup)" in Korean from the 30th of this month until December 8. Provided by Naver

The KeSPA Cup is the only domestic short-term LoL cup tournament hosted by the Korea e-Sports Association. After the last tournament in 2021, it is being held again for the first time in three years and has been designated as a review tournament for selecting national esports representatives starting this year.

Since its official launch in May, Chijijik has continuously enhanced its infrastructure for exclusive broadcasting of the KeSPA Cup. In September, Chijijik established a dedicated broadcast channel for major LoL tournaments such as the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) and the World Championship, providing broadcasts up to 10 seconds faster than other platforms. It also updated the video quality to enable real-time streaming in high definition regardless of streamer rank.

From its early days, Chijijik has maintained cooperative relationships with major esports teams such as KT Rolster, Dplus Kia, and Nongshim RedForce, securing a strong LoL viewer base by recruiting affiliated players as partner streamers. By bringing in former LoL pro gamers and commentators as partner streamers, it offers a differentiated viewing experience with immersive, in-depth expert commentary.

Various events have also been prepared for streamers and viewers enjoying the exclusive live broadcast of the LoL KeSPA Cup through Chijijik. During the KeSPA Cup period, Naver Pay points will be given through a lottery to streamers who conduct 'watch together' broadcasts. Events such as leaving team support messages, match predictions, and creating streamer reaction clips will also be held to allow viewers to enjoy the matches more diversely.

Kim Jeongmi, leader of Naver Chijijik, said, "Chijijik will continue to provide various game-related content preferred by its users, including League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch, and Battlegrounds. We plan to expand support for esports content to build an ecosystem where streamers and fans can grow together and establish ourselves at the center of streaming culture."
