'2024 Asia Economy AI Awards' to be Held on the 19th of Next Month

Companies that have been dedicated to developing artificial intelligence (AI) technology and digital transformation gather in one place to celebrate their achievements over the past year.

Asia Economy will hold the ‘2024 Asia AI Awards’ ceremony at 3 p.m. on December 19 at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul. This event is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Digital Platform Government Committee, and the Korea Venture Business Association.

The outstanding companies selected are among the 100 companies that participated in the ‘AI Revolution’ series, which has been running since March last year. Various companies including large corporations, SMEs, and startups have worked hard on AI technology development and industry integration, receiving high evaluations in the global market as well.

At this awards ceremony, the Ministerial Awards from the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, as well as the AI Ethics Award, AI Business Model Award, and Special Awards will be presented.

The judging panel, composed of five IT experts from academia, industry, and research, will fairly select the award-winning companies based on various evaluation criteria such as creativity, innovation, and impact. Large corporations leading the industry with proprietary AI technology, platform companies that have improved the quality of life and productivity of the public, and startups with promising future growth potential will be honored with awards.
