'2024 Mirae Naeil Work Experience Internship Program' Concludes... Some Youth Transition to Regular Positions
"I am very happy to have directly experienced the job I was interested in through the program and to have been hired as a full-time employee."
This is the impression of a young person who succeeded in finding a job by participating in the '2024 Future Tomorrow Work Experience Internship Program' organized by the Korea Management Innovation Small and Medium Business Association (MainBiz Association).
The program, which MainBiz Association started in May, was successfully completed on the 29th. A total of 145 companies participated in this program, providing valuable work experience opportunities to 250 young people.

The 'Future Tomorrow Work Experience' project is a program led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, designed to help unemployed youth enter the labor market by offering opportunities to experience various jobs in a recruitment market that has shifted to on-demand hiring and career-based recruitment.
The young participants received a total support fund of 2.8 million KRW, and some also received accommodation support, allowing them to gain work experience without financial burden.
Before starting the program, the youth completed one week of pre-job training, followed by eight weeks of practical work experience under the guidance of corporate mentors in actual work environments. They focused especially on enhancing their employment competitiveness through hands-on job experience in management/administration, advertising/marketing, and IT fields.
Some young participants were even hired as full-time employees by the participating companies. One youth who secured a full-time position said, "The Future Tomorrow Work Experience Program was a great help during my career decision period."
Participating companies also responded positively. A company representative stated, "The young people who received pre-job training demonstrated the capability to be immediately deployed in the field," adding, "It was a great opportunity to discover talented potential, and we want to actively participate in the program next year as well."
A MainBiz Association official emphasized, "This program focused on providing youth not just with simple experience but also with opportunities for career exploration and full-time employment conversion," and added, "We will continue to pay close attention and make efforts to offer more opportunities to both youth and companies through similar projects in the future."
