Hwang Hee-chan Mission Success... Jeong Kwan Jang Sponsors 1,800 Sets of 'Hongsamton' to 50 Youth Soccer Teams

Delivered 1,800 Sets with Ambassador Hwang Hee-chan

On the 29th, Jeonggwanjang announced that it donated 1,800 sets of 'Hongsamton' products worth approximately 230 million KRW to 50 youth soccer teams nationwide.

This sponsorship was the result of Hwang Hee-chan, a Hongsamton ambassador, appearing on the YouTube channel 'Shoot for Love' and successfully completing a mission. In the mission where Hwang Hee-chan faced off alone against players resembling national team members, he won three rounds, securing 800 sets of Jeonggwanjang's 'Hongsamton Gold' as sponsorship products. Hongsamton Gold is a product that Hwang Hee-chan revealed he has been taking since middle school to manage his stamina. It contains red ginseng concentrate, ten herbal medicines known from the Sipjeondaebo-tang prescription, and three precious mushrooms, which can help improve fatigue.


In the subsequent power shooting contest to knock down the most Hongsamton boxes, Hwang Hee-chan also won and obtained 1,000 sets of 'Hongsamton Ryu (流)'. Released in April, Hongsamton Ryu is a health functional food that combines Jeonggwanjang’s 6-year-old red ginseng with herbal medicines known from the Dokhwalgisengtang prescription. With the concept of relieving muscle stiffness by removing blood stasis, Hongsamton Ryu is the first liquid ampoule-type product developed under the Hongsamton brand.


KGC Ginseng Corporation has continued various support activities for young dreamers. In June, it donated 50 million KRW to the Daedeok-gu local children’s center to carry out projects such as the ‘Future Job Experience Event’ and ‘Educational Computer Support for Local Children’s Centers.’ Since 2022, through the Dream Base campaign, it has supported young people leaving protective facilities to become independent by helping them acquire certifications useful for employment. Last month, the entire 60 million KRW participation fee for the Health Walking Festival was also donated to the Seoul Sports Council for the development of youth sports.
