Gwangju and Jeonnam will continue to experience cold weather through the weekend.
According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 28th, raindrops or snow are falling in Gwangju and Jeonnam depending on the temperature.
Most areas in Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to receive about 5mm of rain on the 29th. Strong winds, mainly along the west coast, will make the perceived temperature during the morning commute even lower.
The morning low temperatures are expected to be 1°C in Damyang, 2°C in Hwasun and Suncheon, 3°C in Gwangju, Naju, Gwangyang, and Yeongam, 5°C in Haenam, Yeosu, and Wando, and 6°C in Mokpo. The daytime highs will be 12°C in Wando, 11°C in Gwangyang and Haenam, 10°C in Mokpo, Muan, Yeonggwang, Yeosu, Yeongam, and Suncheon, and 9°C in Gwangju, Naju, Damyang, and Hwasun, which is higher than the previous day.
Sea waves will be high, ranging from 2.0 to 5.0 meters in the West Sea and the adjacent waters. Fine dust levels are expected to be at a 'Good' level in Gwangju and Jeonnam.
A representative from the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration advised, “Please be cautious of safety accidents such as traffic accidents on icy roads and structural collapses.”
