Singer Seo In-young has gone through a divorce after 1 year and 9 months of marriage.

Her agency, SW Entertainment, released an official statement on the 28th, saying, "Seo In-young recently finalized an amicable divorce," and added, "There were no issues such as fault or blame during the divorce process." They continued, "The two decided to end their marriage through a smooth agreement and will support each other as they go their separate ways."

Seo In-young married a non-celebrity businessman who is 9 years her senior in February last year. She was rumored to be facing divorce twice, in September of that year and March of this year, but did not make any official statements.

Meanwhile, Seo In-young debuted in 2002 as a member of the group Jewelry, releasing hit songs such as "One More Time," and gained popularity by appearing on MBC's variety show "We Got Married." She later transitioned to a solo career, singing songs like "Cinderella." She is currently preparing for a comeback to the music scene early next year.
