Namyangju City to Recruit Participants for Lifestyle Horticulture Education Starting Next Month 4

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 28th that it will recruit 25 trainees for the "2024 Specialized Technical Training by Item (Lifestyle Horticulture)" on a first-come, first-served basis from December 4 to 8, aiming to spread the multifaceted value of agriculture through the dissemination of lifestyle horticulture technology.

Namyangju City plans to expand the multifaceted value of agriculture by promoting lifestyle horticulture technology and will recruit 25 trainees for the "2024 Specialized Technology by Item (Lifestyle Horticulture)" course on a first-come, first-served basis from December 4 to 8. The lifestyle horticulture class includes △ understanding and management techniques of horticultural plants △ theoretical education on carbon neutrality and medicinal plants △ practical training in terrarium and wreath making, and will be held over a total of 5 sessions from December 10 to 18.

The training is open to any Namyangju citizens interested in lifestyle horticulture. Applications can be submitted through Namyangju City's lifelong learning portal, "Dasan Seodang," and will close once the spots are filled.

A Namyangju City official stated, "We expect that this lifestyle horticulture training will provide citizens with an opportunity to easily engage in horticultural activities in their daily lives."
