Chairman Lee Joong-geun: "Hope Donation Culture Spreads"
Booyoung Group is participating in the EBS social contribution program ‘Nanum 0700’ donation for the third consecutive year.

On the 28th, Lee Joong-geun, Chairman of Booyoung Group, delivered a donation of 360 million KRW to Kim Yoo-yeol, President of EBS, at the Booyoung Group headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul. The donation will be distributed to neighbors in need through the Community Chest of Korea, also known as Sarangui Yeolmae.
Chairman Lee said, “I hope this helps the marginalized neighbors in our society to live diligently without losing hope,” and added, “I wish the culture of donation spreads so that anyone can extend a helping hand to neighbors in need, creating a warm society.”
President Kim said, “Through Booyoung Group’s donation, neighbors who must face the cold immediately will receive help,” and expressed gratitude, saying, “I thank Chairman Lee for worrying about the nation’s future and taking the lead in solving social issues.”
An elderly couple who received support from Booyoung Group expressed their gratitude, saying, “Since receiving the donation, we smile more often and our thoughts have become more positive. Life has become fulfilling, and we have things we want to do.”
In addition, Booyoung Group practices social contribution activities in various fields domestically and internationally, including donations of educational and cultural facilities, scholarship projects, disaster relief, and promoting history. The total amount Booyoung Group has donated to society so far reaches 1.2 trillion KRW.
