Students Remaking Their School Anthem Themselves
The city of Guri, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 28th that the '2024 SchoolKIN (Joy) Project Production Presentation,' which began in May, was successfully completed on the 27th.

The SchoolKIN project supports the production of music videos based on school life by rearranging old school anthems of elementary, middle, and high schools to suit modern tastes and reflecting the opinions of participating students.
The participating schools for 2024 are Inchang Middle School and Samyuk Middle School. Arrangement, recording, video shooting, and editing were supported by the Guri City Music Creation Studio, while the singing and performance of the school anthems and appearances in the music videos were handled entirely by the students of the participating schools.
At the screening event, participants watched the completed school anthem music videos together and shared their impressions.
Students who participated in the project said, "This will be an unforgettable memory of our school days," and "Filming this music video increased my interest in media production."
A school official who accompanied the students said, "This was a project we really wanted the students to experience, and seeing them participate happily made the hard work worthwhile."
Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun of Guri said, "This project has provided a great opportunity for youth to experience careers in music and video fields, and I hope they grow into potential talents in content production and the arts based on this experience."
