NH Nonghyup Bank Gumi Branch and 8 Cooperative Heads Deliver Sponsored Goods and Volunteer for Meal Service

Delivery of Agricultural Products Worth 10 Million KRW in Gumi Area

Meal Service Volunteer Activity at Gumi Comprehensive Social Welfare Center

On the 28th, in Gumi-si, Gyeongbuk, the NH Nonghyup Bank Gumi Branch (Branch Manager Ryu Seung-yeop) and the heads of eight cooperatives (Donggumi, Gumi, Gumi Chilgok Livestock Cooperative, Goa, Mueul, Seonsan, Indong, Haepyeong Nonghyup) visited the Gumi Comprehensive Social Welfare Center to volunteer by serving meals to over 250 elderly people using the senior cafeteria, and donated local agricultural products worth 10 million KRW to the welfare center (Director Moon Byung-chan, Daegun Andrea).

At the event, Gumi Mayor Kim Jang-ho, the NH Nonghyup Bank Gumi Branch, the eight cooperative heads, and members of the Hometown Housewives Association participated, personally serving a variety of carefully prepared dishes such as Korean beef bone soup, assorted jeon (Korean pancakes), japchae, and tangerine chicory salad to the elderly while exchanging warm greetings. The donated Gumi agricultural products (worth 10 million KRW) will be used to provide meals for the elderly at the welfare center’s senior cafeteria.

Mayor Kim Jang-ho expressed, “I deeply appreciate the NH Nonghyup Gumi Branch and each cooperative head who always take the lead in helping neighbors in need in our community,” and added, “I hope that such social contribution activities, which share the love received from the community, will spread further.” He also requested, “Please show much interest and participation in the ‘Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign’ starting in December.”
