Active Exchanges Including the '1st Vietnamese University Students Hangeul Digital Poetry Contest' Held
Gyeongnam Information University (President Kim Tae-sang) signed a business agreement with Ho Chi Minh City National University (President Nguyen Thi Phuong Lan) in the reception room of the Vietnamese university on the 22nd.
Through this agreement, the two universities agreed to mutually strive to connect students of the Korean Language Department at Ho Chi Minh City National University with opportunities for studying and employment in Korea.
This agreement was made based on the newly launched course "Vietnamese Dica Poetry Cultural Tour" currently being conducted at the Lifelong Education Center of Gyeongnam Information University.
Especially at the signing ceremony, a special lecture was held for 300 students by Jung Yoo-ji, president of the Busan Dica Poetry Association and professor of the Digital Literary Creation Department at Gyeongnam Information University.
The exchange between Ho Chi Minh City National University and the Digital Literary Creation Department of Gyeongnam Information University is not the first. Ho Chi Minh City National University has a Korean Language Department, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. To mark this occasion, the Busan Dica Poetry Association recently held the "1st Vietnamese University Student Hangeul Dica Poetry Contest," with about 800 enrolled students participating.

Phan Thanh Dinh, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City National University, said, "Dica poetry is a short yet attractive genre of digital literature," and added, "The contest provided a great opportunity for Vietnamese students to learn about Korean Hangeul cultural content."
Professor Jung Yoo-ji of the Digital Literary Creation Department said, "I hope this agreement ceremony will be a good opportunity to sow the seeds of Hangeul Dica poetry, a Hangeul cultural content."
The Digital Literary Creation Department at Gyeongnam Information University operates weekday night and weekend classes at the Centum Campus to nurture professional YouTubers and digital writers equipped with both planning and creative skills.
Gyeongnam Information College has signed a business agreement with Ho Chi Minh City National University in Vietnam.
