Go Young-ju, chief of the Suwon Southern Fire Station, said, "In keeping with Venerable Boman’s heartfelt intention, we thought it appropriate to deliver the rice cakes he sent to neighbors in greater need, so we distributed them to nearby nursing homes, care centers, and other welfare facilities."

Earlier, the Suwon Southern Fire Station invited Venerable Boman from Dogaksa Temple to conduct a second firefighter training session under the theme “Adopting a New Mindset Toward One’s Profession.”

During the lecture, Venerable Boman encouraged the firefighters by saying, “The world needs people like firefighters who sacrifice themselves and serve as the light and salt of the world.”

Venerable Boman operates the public interest foundation Borisu and engages in various activities such as donating YouTube earnings back to society.
