Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon urgently convened the 'Heavy Snow Video Countermeasure Meeting' on the 28th and gave four special instructions to the 31 cities and counties in the province, saying, "When it snows moderately, it is beautiful snow, but from now on, it is a war against snow."
Governor Kim first requested that emergency evacuation measures be taken for residents living in vulnerable residential facilities such as vinyl greenhouses. He also promised that the entire budget for emergency evacuation would be borne by Gyeonggi Province. The province plans to support a daily lodging fee of 70,000 won and a meal cost of 9,000 won per meal through the disaster relief fund.
Governor Kim then ordered the prevention of safety accidents at construction sites, responding to concerns about accidents such as collapses and falls caused by heavy snowfall.
