The 6th Seasonal Fine Dust Management Plan aims for an average concentration of ultrafine dust (PM2.5) of 24㎍/㎥ and promotes 20 implementation tasks across five major areas: resident health protection, industry, transportation, public sector, and information provision & cooperation enhancement.

The plan supports residents' healthy daily lives by improving air quality through various measures such as reducing air pollutant emissions from industrial sites, restricting idling and operation of grade 5 emission vehicles, saving energy in administrative and public institutions, and providing air quality information.

Additionally, during the seasonal fine dust management period, if ultrafine dust concentrations exceed a certain level, an ultrafine dust crisis alert will be issued and emergency reduction measures will be implemented, including shortening operating hours and adjusting operation rates of public workplaces and construction sites to respond to the crisis.

A Yeoncheon-gun official stated, “During the seasonal fine dust management period, please check fine dust levels before going out, and on days with severe high concentrations of fine dust, we ask for your interest and participation in creating a safe living environment by refraining from going out and wearing masks.”
