With the arrival of winter, many drivers are replacing their car tires with 'winter tires' to ensure safe driving on snowy and icy roads. Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance operates the industry's only 'Winter Tire Installation Discount Special Contract,' which offers benefits to drivers who have installed winter tires. If all four wheels of the insured vehicle under Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance are equipped with winter tires and this is certified, the special contract can be subscribed to, allowing a 5% discount on car insurance premiums. However, if all-weather tires are installed instead of winter tires, subscription to the special contract is not possible.
This special contract can be subscribed not only when newly purchasing car insurance but also mid-term for existing car insurance contracts. In this case, discounts and premium refunds can also be applied to the total insurance premium. However, the special contract can only be subscribed if there are more than three months remaining in the insurance contract period.
