AI startup Wello announced on the 28th that it has obtained the Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System certification (ISMS-P). This certification acquisition is evaluated as proof that Wello has demonstrated top-level security management capabilities.
ISMS-P is an integrated management system certification that audits and certifies whether information security and personal information protection management procedures and protection measures are systematically established and operated. It is jointly overseen by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission. To obtain it, one must pass the conformity assessment by the Korea Internet & Security Agency on 101 criteria across 3 areas and 328 inspection items.
Wello provides policy experiences tailored to the life cycles of individuals and businesses in various fields such as welfare, housing, transportation, employment, and startups. Its policy database is the largest in Korea. Currently, it automatically collects and analyzes over 10,000 policy data entries daily from more than 2,700 organizations, including 46 central government ministries, 593 local governments, public foundations, and private social contribution institutions.
Wello plans to further secure various security certifications that comply with global standards and strengthen its internal operating systems to enhance compliance management capabilities.
