The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has concluded the ‘Heart is My Strength’ campaign ahead of the ‘UNESCO International Forum on the Future of Education’ scheduled for December.
The campaign saw participation from a total of 1,500 teams and over 10,500 people, including Gyeonggi Superintendent of Education Lim Tae-hee, students, parents, and staff across the province, via social networking services (SNS) from November 5 to 25. Participants freely expressed hearts (♡) and sent messages of support for Gyeonggi Future Education.
The Christian club ‘Dream’ at Hangwang Middle School in Pyeongtaek posted a wave cheer video featuring cute dances by male students and about 800 students from the entire school on their Instagram account (@dream_hkms).

At Gyeongmin Business High School in Uijeongbu, 328 first- and second-year students gathered on the playground to form a heart-shaped formation and sent messages supporting the successful hosting of the forum, attracting significant attention.
The ‘heart,’ symbolizing the Gyeonggi Future Education platform, represents education without blind spots, the role of education as a public good, and the value of transformation. It metaphorically expresses the heartbeat phenomenon experienced when encountering something new and exciting, likening it to the expansion of public education promoted by Gyeonggi Education.
The campaign video will be released on the provincial office of education’s SNS on December 1.
Superintendent Lim Tae-hee stated, "Through this campaign, we were able to confirm the expectations and aspirations for Gyeonggi Future Education," adding, "The ‘2024 UNESCO International Forum on the Future of Education,’ held from December 2 to 4, will serve as an opportunity for Gyeonggi Future Education to debut on the global stage as K-EDU."
