About 100 people attended the event, including Mayor Kim Dong-geun, City Council Chairman Kim Yeon-gyun, provincial and city council members, heads of related organizations, leaders of social groups, and representatives of businesses.

The Job Comprehensive Support Center, created in a remodeled space of 351㎡ on the first floor of the Labor Welfare Center, will have nine staff members, including career counselors and administrative personnel, working on-site.

The interior is equipped with a central lounge, a multipurpose room (lecture room), and separate rest areas for men and women. In particular, it is expected to function as Uijeongbu City's definitive job comprehensive platform by resolving issues caused by the aging of existing facilities and enhancing the center's functions.

In his commemorative speech, Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, "The expansion and relocation opening of the Job Comprehensive Support Center will become an important hub that can provide practical help to both job seekers and companies," adding, "We expect the center to play a vital role in revitalizing the local economy and improving the lives of citizens."

Meanwhile, the city aims to establish an "All-in-One Job Center" by ▲ strengthening matching programs between job seekers and employers and securing job competitiveness through the opening of quality employment support programs ▲ providing customized services through close cooperation with related organizations such as the Gyeonggi Job Foundation and the Employment Welfare Plus Center ▲ enhancing worker welfare by offering free labor law consultation services and spaces such as a small library, a workers' rest area, and a caf?.
