At this meeting, the city shared cases of civil complaint handling from this year and exchanged opinions on the operational direction for 2025.

Cases of civil complaint handling introduced this year included △solving ground subsidence on local road sidewalks △cooperation on urban gas construction sections △noise reduction using discarded fire hoses △elimination of dangerous areas on police patrol routes, demonstrating inter-agency cooperation.

Following this, during the discussion on the 2025 Baro Processing operational direction, active discussions took place among participants regarding local issues such as frequently occurring parking complaints and scooter management, with explanations of complaint cases provided by representatives from the Namyangju Southern Police Station.

Won Kyung-hee, the Citizen Market Officer, said, “We appreciate the efforts of the Citizen Participation Group and related agency officials,” adding, “In 2025, we will continue to listen to the opinions of the Citizen Participation Group to enhance citizen satisfaction and actively reflect their suggestions in city administration.”

The Baro Processing Citizen Participation Group consists of 16 citizens who are well acquainted with the sites of towns, townships, and neighborhoods, and since March last year, they have been identifying inconveniences on non-statutory roads and conducting monitoring activities.

Meanwhile, as of October, Namyangju City’s Baro Processing civil complaint service has received and handled 2,103 complaints related to inconveniences on non-statutory roads, gaining great response from citizens.

Civil complaints can be submitted through the Namyangju City civil service reception system or the dedicated Baro Processing phone number.
