Lee Hyun-jae Mayor "We Will Make the City a Place Where Citizens Are Happy"
Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Hyun-jae) announced on the 27th that it has been selected as an excellent institution in the 2024 Gyeonggi-do City and County Comprehensive Evaluation, securing an institutional commendation along with a project fund of 100 million KRW.
The Gyeonggi-do City and County Comprehensive Evaluation is a system that evaluates the overall administrative capabilities of 31 cities and counties by dividing them into three groups according to population size. This year, the evaluation was conducted based on 105 detailed indicators set around national core tasks and major policy promotion tasks of Gyeonggi-do.
Hanam City was also selected as an excellent institution last year, securing a project fund of 100 million KRW, and this year, it was selected again with a score improved by 0.82 points compared to last year, securing a financial incentive of 100 million KRW.
Hanam City has been recognized internally and externally for its outstanding administrative capabilities by being selected as an excellent institution for three consecutive years since 2022, as a result of efforts to improve the quality of administrative services and achieve targets for each indicator.
This achievement is the result of the entire staff’s efforts through systematic performance management, including setting detailed targets for each indicator from the beginning of the year, holding monthly meetings chaired by the Deputy Mayor, and conducting one-on-one consulting with indicator managers.
Mayor Lee Hyun-jae of Hanam City stated, “This achievement is the result of all staff working together to make Hanam a better city to live in, and we will continue to address any shortcomings to create a city where citizens are happy.”
