'Safe TV' Channel Reaches 100,000
Focusing on Content to Strengthen Digital Communication

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety's official YouTube channel 'Ministry of the Interior and Safety' and the safety-specialized promotional channel 'Safe TV' have each reached 100,000 subscribers and received two Silver Play Buttons. The Silver Play Button is an award given by YouTube headquarters to channels that achieve 100,000 subscribers.


According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 27th, the Ministry's YouTube channel currently has 107,000 subscribers after surpassing 100,000.

The Ministry strengthened the production of short-form content under one minute that delivers essential policies to the public quickly and easily, and planned various series that attracted much attention. In particular, key content such as ▲'1-minute PR' featuring the officials in charge ▲'Empty House' (Binjip) Becoming (____) ▲the Ministry of the Interior and Safety character 'DaHaeng-i' series received favorable reviews. The digital platform government short-form series starring Minister Lee Sang-min surpassed 1.86 million total views, playing a significant role in promoting digital government policies through the Ministry's YouTube channel.


Another Silver Play Button recipient, 'Safe TV,' is recognized as a channel that produces videos on disaster safety knowledge, information, and response guidelines to raise public safety awareness and spread a safety culture. ▲Entertainment-style content where two famous creators compete for the title of safety master ▲'Safety Fairy Anyo,' which teaches safety rules to elementary school children, have consistently gained popularity among young people and children. Among these, shorts videos such as 'One Safety per Week' and 'Safety Curiosity,' which quickly deliver useful safety information, recorded 7.07 million views this year, an increase of over 940% compared to 800,000 last year.


Kim Kwang-yong, spokesperson for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, said, "Thanks to the great interest many citizens have shown in the Ministry's policies, both channels were able to surpass 100,000 subscribers simultaneously. We will strengthen communication and put more effort into various attempts and new content production to deliver diverse policies that the public must know more easily and closely."
