Hana Bank announced on the 27th that it has renewed the experiential financial platform 'iBooja App' for the Alpha generation.
Launched in June 2021, Hana Bank's mobile app 'iBooja' is the nation's first 'financial parent tech' service used jointly by parent members and child members. Child members can receive allowances through the 'iBooja App' and directly experience activities such as 'saving, spending, growing, and sharing,' helping them develop proper financial habits.
The renewed 'iBooja App' includes various services that can be conveniently used in daily life. Additionally, with the newly established cloud-based system, non-financial content that fosters communication between parent and child members has been expanded.
First, new services such as 'QR and barcode payment' and 'online direct payment' through the iBooja App have been introduced. Since the existing 'iBooja rechargeable prepaid card' has received great response, Hana Bank plans to continuously develop payment services using iBooja to enhance customer convenience.
Moreover, a new feature allows child members to check their school's meal plans and timetables within the 'iBooja App.' Participatory reward activities such as ▲quiz solving ▲walking challenges ▲habit challenges have been added to make it easier to enjoy various benefits of the iBooja App.
A representative from Hana Bank's Digital Channel Headquarters stated, "With this renewal, parent and child members can share and communicate more through the iBooja App. We will continue to strive to make the iBooja App contribute to the formation of proper financial and lifestyle habits for children and establish it as an essential app used by both parents and children."
Meanwhile, the ‘iBooja App’ has been continuously improving services to enhance customer convenience, such as allowing foreigner registration for multicultural families since last May. After surpassing 1 million cumulative users in May last year, the total number of users has increased to 1.6 million, including 780,000 child members, receiving great acclaim as an essential financial app for children.
