Jeongwan Company Develops Hologram Frame for Pets

Jeongwan Company Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jeongwan) has completed the development of an innovative product, a dual Transparent LCD-based holographic frame for comforting pets, which vividly recreates precious memories with pets.

This project was carried out as part of the 'Hologram Product Advancement Support Project' under the hologram industry expansion support program operated by Jeonbuk Technopark and the Korea Electronics Technology Institute, with support from Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province and Iksan City.

This product features the generation of holographic images based on photos of pets, helping owners vividly recall their beloved pets anytime. To achieve this, Jeongwan Company combined generative AI technology with dual Transparent LCD technology to present an emotional and unique product.

Jeongwan Company, recognized for its technological capabilities after receiving venture company certification earlier this year, has continuously strengthened its research and development capabilities through its corporate-affiliated research institute. Based on these efforts, the developed product automatically displays a holographic image when the user calls the pet’s name, providing an experience as if the pet is alive.

Additionally, by utilizing generative AI, customized holographic content is produced free of charge, capturing the owner’s special memories more vividly.

Jeongwan Company installed this product at Osu Pet Memorial Park in Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, to conduct demonstration tests, which resulted in positive responses, including an 88% consumer satisfaction rate.

Upon product launch, contracts were signed with major domestic pet funeral homes and dealerships, and the product was showcased at major domestic pet fairs and electronics exhibitions, laying the foundation for entry into the global market.

CEO Choi Jeongwan of Jeongwan Company stated, "This project is the fruit of efforts to understand consumers’ emotions and memories and to realize them through technology, beyond simple technological development. We hope that people who consider their pets as family can cherish their precious memories more warmly."
