Mobile game company Bagelcode announced on the 27th that it was selected as an award-winning company at this year's 'Venture 100 Billion Won Company' ceremony.
The Venture 100 Billion Won Company, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Venture Business Association, is an event to recognize companies that achieved sales of 100 billion won in the previous year. Award-winning companies have been selected and announced since 2005.
Bagelcode has steadily grown with an average annual sales growth rate of 60% over the past five years. It provides mobile games in over 200 countries worldwide, mainly in North America and Europe, generating all of its sales overseas.
Since 2020, Bagelcode has been actively recruiting talent with diverse skills and experiences through regular open recruitment, strengthening the expertise of its organization. Additionally, it has established a technology-centered organizational culture based on data and artificial intelligence (AI).
Kim Jun-young and Yoon Il-hwan, co-CEOs of Bagelcode, said, "We are pleased that Bagelcode's efforts and achievements accumulated over more than 10 years in the global market have been recognized. Meanwhile, a total of 103 companies were selected as Venture 100 Billion Won Companies this year, among which Bagelcode, Shift Up, and Roadcomplit were named in the gaming sector.
