Regarding the allegations that political broker Myeong Taegyun was involved in the unification process of the 20th presidential election, Ahn Cheol-soo, a member of the People Power Party, stated, "I do not know Myeong Taegyun" and "I did not receive any help during the unification process."

On the 27th, Ahn appeared on KBS Radio's 'Jeonggyeok Sisa' and said, "The core of the Myeong Taegyun controversy is manipulating public opinion and interfering in candidate nominations," adding, "And the person who benefited from that is the culprit, but I am actually the opposite."

He continued, "That person (Myeong) was always doing bad things against me from the opposing camp," and emphasized, "Putting personal feelings aside, the greatest enemy of democracy is manipulation of public opinion and interference in candidate nominations. We must eradicate these things through this opportunity."

Regarding the People Power Party member bulletin board incident, he said, "As an IT expert, I understand well, but this issue is not complicated," adding, "However, it has dragged on for too long. Ultimately, there is only one solution, and now Han Dong-hoon, the party leader, should hold a press conference to clearly, honestly, and objectively reveal the facts and provide appropriate explanations and measures."

About the Yoon Seok-youl administration, which has passed the midpoint of its term, he said, "The national approval rating is in the 20% range, and when expectations are high, disappointments are also great, so I think this is a reaction to that," adding, "President Yoon seems to have the belief that if he pushes through with determination, he will eventually succeed. However, the most important thing in politics is to secure many allies."

He continued, "For example, in the case of medical reform, the process of creating momentum for reform should have been done first, then gradually specified, and the most concrete numbers should have been discussed last," adding, "But since this order was reversed, there were no allies and only resistance arose. It is regrettable."
