Medical AI company Lunit announced on the 27th that it has signed a strategic partnership with 'Salud Digna,' the largest medical institution chain in Mexico and Latin America.
Founded in 2003, Salud Digna operates over 230 medical centers in Mexico and the Latin American region. It treats more than 20 million patients annually. In June, it actively invested in improving the quality of medical services by collaborating with GE Healthcare to introduce more than 400 state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging devices.
Through this partnership, Lunit will supply Salud Digna with its AI diagnostic imaging solutions, Lunit Insight CXR and Lunit Insight MMG. Additionally, Lunit will receive approximately 10 million medical imaging data, including chest X-rays and mammography images, along with related clinical information owned by Salud Digna.
By adopting Lunit's AI solutions, Salud Digna aims to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of diagnosing chest diseases and breast cancer, providing upgraded medical services to local residents.
Lunit plans to actively utilize Salud Digna's medical data, which fully reflects the characteristics of patients in the Latin American region, to develop AI models specialized for Latin America, including Mexico, and to advance product performance.
