"Harris Has Never Led Trump Even Once" ... Camp Staff Admit Late

Harris Staffers Confess on Podcasts
"Gap in Approval Ratings Inherited from Biden Is Too Large"

A staff member who advised Kamala Harris, former U.S. Democratic presidential candidate, during her campaign has revealed the reality of the campaign period. Contrary to the perception of a close race, internal polls showed that Harris never once surpassed President Donald Trump, the elected president.

The U.S. online media outlet HuffPost quoted an anonymous staff member saying, "Harris probably never had a high chance of winning anyway," and added, "The gap in approval ratings inherited from President Joe Biden was too large."

However, the campaign reportedly approached the presidential race with as much optimism as possible. David Plouffe, who served as a senior advisor to the Kamala campaign, explained on a political podcast, "I don't know how optimistic we were at the time, but we were hopeful," and added, "Polls released in late September and early October showed Harris leading, which was data we had never seen before."

The staff cited several reasons for Harris's crushing defeat, including failure to distance herself from President Biden and not strongly advocating for the rights of sexual minorities such as transgender individuals. The staff admitted, "If Harris had taken a hardline stance on transgender rights, she would have fallen into Trump's trap."

One staff member speculated that Harris's "tremendous level" of loyalty toward President Biden might have contributed to her defeat. Additionally, her failure to provide an appropriate solution to the issue of illegal immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border was also cited as a cause of poor performance.

However, the strongest cause of the Democratic defeat, unanimously agreed upon by all staff members, was none other than "inflation." The soaring inflation during President Biden's term had already turned voters' hearts away.

Regarding this, the media emphasized, "Anger over high prices has negatively affected the popularity of other incumbent politicians around the world."
