4170 Portions of Kimchi Delivered to Vulnerable Groups and Welfare Facilities in Uljin Area
KHNP Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters held the '2024 Winter Love Kimchi Sharing Event' at Heungbu Market in Uljin on November 26, marking the 20th consecutive year of this event.

The event was attended by Lee Seyong, Head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, Son Byungbok, Uljin County Governor, Baek Taejin, Chairman of Uljin Saemaeul Association, volunteers from the Heungbu Village community, and others. They made kimchi using ingredients such as napa cabbage and red pepper powder produced in Uljin, preparing 4,170 heads of kimchi. Of these, 3,000 heads will be distributed to 1,000 vulnerable households in the area, and 1,170 heads will be delivered to 14 welfare facilities.
Governor Son Byungbok expressed his gratitude, saying, "I deeply appreciate the warm heart of Hanul Headquarters, which has been making and sharing kimchi every year for 20 years. Thanks to this, our neighbors will be able to spend the coming year without worrying about food."
In response, Lee Seyong, Head of Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, "Making kimchi to share with our neighbors was a meaningful time to reflect once again on the moments of warmth we have shared so far. We will continue to develop various projects to provide more effective support to local residents."
