A famous Vietnamese DJ who underwent plastic surgery in Korea broke down in tears, claiming that the shape of her nose became strange after the surgery.

On the 24th (local time), the Vietnamese online media 'Doc Nhanh' reported the story of Ngan, a well-known DJ from the area. It is known that Ngan visited Korea with her husband in July to undergo plastic surgery.

Ngan is the wife of Vietnamese composer Luong Bang Quang and is well known locally as a DJ who performs wearing flashy costumes. She is also active on social networking services (SNS), and in a recent video posted on TikTok, she revealed her full face, saying, "I have to go to the airport in a few hours for a performance in the United States, but my face is swollen."

A netizen who saw the video pointed out, "Ngan's nose is crooked to one side." After reading the comments, Ngan confessed tearfully, "My nose has twisted since the plastic surgery." She added, "I danced hard and performed, and they say the inside of my nose got infected," and "My nose is distorted and swollen."

She reportedly chose overseas plastic surgery because she wanted to change her facial impression. Ngan explained, "When I was younger, I had plastic surgery because I wanted my face to look fiercer. As I got older, I wanted to have a softer impression, so I had surgery again."

However, she lamented, "To fix (the side effects of the wrong surgery), I have to undergo surgery again," and "The last surgery was so painful that I don't think I can have a major surgery anymore."

Meanwhile, the reputation of Korea's cosmetic surgery industry is known even overseas. According to the 'Status of Foreign Patient Attraction Support Industry' submitted by Nam In-soon, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, to the Korea Health Industry Development Institute last month, the number of foreigners coming to Korea for plastic surgery surged more than sevenfold from 52,552 cases in 2022 to 383,665 cases last year.
