Chungnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services Wins Top Excellence Award in Rural Development Administration Comprehensive Evaluation

The Chungnam Provincial Agricultural Research and Extension Services announced on the 26th that it received the top excellence award at the Comprehensive Evaluation Meeting for Rural Resource Projects hosted by the Rural Development Administration.

The Rural Development Administration evaluated the performance of rural resource projects by provincial and municipal rural development organizations over the past two years.

The Provincial Agricultural Research and Extension Services invested 3.484 billion KRW over two years with the goal of expanding the scope of rural experience through collaboration with other sectors, promoting rural experience programs linked with Neulbom School, and establishing a foundation for therapeutic agriculture.

Additionally, the Seosan Agricultural Technology Center and Cheonan Agricultural Technology Center received grand prizes in the fields of agri-food processing and rural experience learning program operation, respectively. The Yesan Apple Wine agricultural management entity also received the grand prize in the rural convergence product model category.

Seo Dongcheol, head of the Rural Resources Division, said, "We will continue to strive to increase farmers' income and improve the quality of life in rural areas, and will take the lead in supporting the growth of farmers."
