On the same day, Ulju County held a donation ceremony at the Ihwa Hall in the county office, attended by County Governor Lee Soon-geol, Jin Tae-yoon, head of the Nonghyup Central Association Ulju County branch, Choi Gap-rak, chairman of the Ulju County Nonghyup Cooperative Management Council (head of Sangbuk Nonghyup), along with 10 Nonghyup cooperative heads from Ulju County and about 20 others including Yoon Ju-bo, head of Ulsan Livestock Nonghyup.
The executives and employees of Ulsan Nonghyup participated in the donation to mark the second year of the hometown love donation system, aiming to establish the system successfully, foster a consensus on love for the region, promote the consumption of local agricultural and livestock products, and enhance the practical benefits for farmers.
Previously, executives and employees of Ulsan Horticultural Nonghyup, Cheongnyang Nonghyup, and Seosaeng Nonghyup donated 20 million won to Ulju County through mutual cross-donations in August and October. Including this donation, the total amount donated by Ulsan Nonghyup to Ulju County reaches 61 million won.
Jin Tae-yoon, head of the Nonghyup Central Association Ulju County branch, said, “Knowing that active participation by Nonghyup can be a great support for revitalizing the local economy, all executives and employees of Ulsan Nonghyup participated in the donation with the same heart.”
County Governor Lee Soon-geol expressed, “I sincerely thank the executives and employees of Ulsan Nonghyup who voluntarily participated in the donation for regional development,” and added, “We will collaborate with Ulsan Nonghyup to develop high-quality return gifts to provide to donors and carry out various promotional activities together.”
