Songpa-gu to Recruit '2025 First Half Youth Administrative Interns'... Applications Accepted on District Website Until the 29th

Administrative Work Experience at District Office, Community Centers, and Libraries from Jan 6 to Feb 3 Next Year
Songpa-gu (Mayor Seo Gang-seok) announced that it is recruiting participants for the "2025 First Half Youth Administrative Intern" program until the 29th.
The district operates the "Youth Administrative Intern" program to provide various social experience opportunities, such as directly experiencing administrative work and participating in district administration, for unemployed young people in their 20s who face difficulties finding jobs.
A total of 50 people will be selected in this open recruitment. The target applicants are unemployed youth aged 19 to 29 who are registered residents of Songpa-gu. However, those who have previously participated in the university student administrative intern (part-time) or youth administrative intern (experience group) programs are excluded.
The finally selected administrative interns will be assigned to the district office, public health center, community service centers, and local libraries, where they will perform administrative support tasks for one month from January 6 to February 3 next year.
They will be responsible for tasks such as assisting with administrative and welfare work, guiding and responding to civil complaints, and will be provided with practical public service experience opportunities.
Additionally, the district will offer the administrative interns opportunities to directly experience district administration. They will conduct tours of major local facilities such as the Songpa Safety Experience Education Center and assign research projects related to district administration, encouraging participation in discovering youth-related idea projects, making it a more meaningful social experience for unemployed youth.
The working period is from January 6 to February 3, 2025, with a five-day workweek from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The salary will be based on the "2025 Songpa-gu Living Wage," with a maximum payment of 1.47 million KRW.
Youth wishing to apply for the administrative intern program can apply online through the Songpa-gu website by November 29. The final selection will be made by a random public lottery to select 50 candidates.
