Expecting Cultural and Economic Exchange and Development Between Dongdaemun-gu and Jungnang-gu Through Jungnangcheon Suspension Bridge Construction
On the 26th, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) and Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) signed a 'Jungnangcheon Suspension Bridge Construction Business Agreement.'
The agreement ceremony, held in the planning situation room of Jungnang-gu Office that morning, was attended by about 10 officials from both districts, including Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, and Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu.
The 'Jungnangcheon Suspension Bridge' is expected by both sides to become a symbol of cultural and economic exchange and mutual development between the two neighboring autonomous districts centered around Jungnangcheon.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ cooperation between the two institutions for the construction of the suspension bridge ▲ securing funds for project promotion ▲ matters related to permits and approvals from relevant organizations such as site occupancy.
Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, "We will make the 'Jungnangcheon Suspension Bridge,' symbolizing cultural and economic exchange between the two districts, a place loved by Seoul citizens and people around the world," adding, "We will continuously cooperate with Jungnang-gu to successfully complete this project."
