Gapyeong-gun Supports Accommodation and Experience Fees for Tourists Completing Missions

Promoting to Attract Winter Stay Tourists and Expand Daily Tourist Population

Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Seo Tae-won) announced on the 26th that it will carry out ‘The Seasons, Winter Feel Gapyeong,’ a program that supports accommodation and experience fees for tourists staying overnight or longer in the area. This project is being promoted to attract stay-type tourists and expand the tourism living population.

This program is a sequel to ‘The Seasons, Wonder Fall Gapyeong,’ which received great response and ended early last October. Participants receive 30,000 KRW per person for accommodation and 20,000 KRW for tourism and experience fees (based on one night), with a maximum stay-type tourism incentive of 150,000 KRW.

Participants must stay at least one night in Gapyeong-gun and engage in tourism and experiences. They are also required to post at least one promotional post per day about the county’s tourist attractions on their personal social networking services (SNS), and submit a travel report including the tourism course they created and their impressions after the trip.
