Creating a Venue for Unity and Exchange Among Printing Entrepreneurs at Goyang Printing Culture Hub Center
Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 26th that it held the '2024 Goyang Printing Day' event on the 25th at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 1 in Goyang to boost the morale of printing companies and promote unity and exchange among entrepreneurs in celebration of the 2nd anniversary of the opening of the Goyang Printing Culture Hub Center.

The Goyang Printing Culture Hub Center opened in September 2022 and is located in Janghang-dong, a printing cluster blossoming through printing. It has firmly established itself as a key center in Goyang City that connects companies and fosters mutual growth.
The event was graced by the presence of Lee Dong-hwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, Kim Un-nam, Chairman of the Goyang Special City Council, members of the Goyang Special City Council, the head of the Gyeonggi Technopark Foundation, related organizations, and over 150 printing culture and publishing entrepreneurs.
At the Printing Day event, there were introductions to automation solutions for printing and publishing, a special lecture on paper, an awards ceremony for the printing technology competition, and an exhibition showcasing the award-winning works, attracting much attention.
Mayor Lee Dong-hwan of Goyang Special City stated, “With the unprecedented honor of winning the Nobel Prize in Literature, printing entrepreneurs struggling due to the economic downturn in Gyeonggi Province have gained great strength, and I hope more opportunities arise for the development of printing culture.” He added, “To secure the future competitiveness of the printing industry, Goyang City will continue to explore various development directions together.”
