The Seosan Office of Education plans to distribute the donated scholarship to 10 academically outstanding students from low-income families in the region, with each receiving 300,000 won.
Chairman Kim Sanggon said, "I hope this small support can help students who are dedicated to their studies despite difficult circumstances. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility by persistently engaging in activities for local students."
Superintendent Seong Kidong expressed his gratitude, saying, "I would like to thank the Seosan District Youth Crime Prevention Committee of the Ministry of Justice for always taking the lead in community development and youth guidance and protection activities. The scholarship you have provided will be a great help in furthering the growth of our local students."
Meanwhile, the Seosan District is a private volunteer organization under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice, carrying out activities such as youth crime prevention, youth guidance, probation, and support for students in need of educational welfare.
Together with the Seosan Office of Education, they have been actively conducting joint school violence prevention campaigns and historical and cultural exploration activities with "Guardian Angels," receiving positive responses.
