Members of the Sansarang Women's Association of the Taean-gun Forestry Cooperative in Chungnam held the 'Kimchi Making with Love' event over two days from the 24th to the 25th.

More than 50 people, including Cooperative President Choi Woopyeong, other executives, and members of the women's association, participated in the event and made kimchi using 1,300 heads of napa cabbage.

The cooperative donated the kimchi made during the event to Taean-gun, which then delivered it to 238 senior centers in the area.

Choi Woopyeong, the cooperative president, said, "We organized this event for those who have been the foundation for our lush forests today and for our neighbors in need. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Sansarang Women's Association for their hard work in this kimchi-making volunteer activity, and I hope that the 1,300 heads of kimchi we made together can be of some help to those in need."

Meanwhile, on the day of the event, Taean-gun Mayor Gasero and Korea Forestry Cooperative Federation President Choi Changho visited the site to encourage the executives and women's association members participating in the kimchi-making volunteer activity.
