Jo Byung-kyu, CEO of Woori Bank, has announced his intention not to seek reappointment.

According to Woori Bank on the 26th, Jo informed the board of directors in the morning that he would not pursue reappointment in order to revitalize the organization.

Additionally, he requested the Subsidiary CEO Candidate Recommendation Committee (Jachu-wi) to exclude him from the first round of bank president candidates (longlist) and to appoint his successor.

Woori Bank stated, "Accordingly, the Jachu-wi is proceeding with the process of selecting the next bank president."
