On the 26th, the Korea Oil Pipeline Corporation Gyeongnam Branch delivered items such as a helmet washer and Healing Fit (mental and physical healing supplies) to the Masan Fire Station in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, through the 'Firefighting Hope Family Sharing' program.
The helmet washer improves health and hygiene by removing harmful chemicals and infectious agents from rescue, emergency, and firefighting helmets exposed to various disaster sites such as fires. Healing Fit helps treat and prevent PTSD and sleep disorders caused by frequent exposure to traumatic scenes and sudden night-time dispatches, which are characteristic of firefighters' working environments.
Chief Lee Gil-ha said, “This event will serve as an opportunity for firefighters to perform safer and more effective firefighting activities,” and added, “We sincerely thank the Korea Oil Pipeline Corporation for donating the sponsored items.”
