Wello, an operator of an artificial intelligence (AI) policy recommendation service, announced on the 26th that it has undergone a major update.


The core of the update is the reward system called ‘Wellpoint.’ Wello created a service environment where users can more easily become policy participants through gamification. Users receive rewards based on their contribution to policy dissemination and can withdraw from 2,000 KRW in increments of 1,000 KRW.


Along with the introduction of the reward system, recruitment for the policy activation partner ‘Welper’ has also begun. Welpers are user ambassadors who accompany the expansion of the value of policy data. Any member with policy experience can apply, and selected applicants receive additional reward accumulation benefits.

Generative AI technology has also been introduced to enhance user convenience. Wello developed a ‘Policy Summary’ feature that condenses policy data based on a large language model (LLM) trained on vast policy data. Users can activate the new feature on the customized policy guidance page to check the complex details of various policies compressed into three key points.


Yuriana Kim, CEO of Wello, said, “With multifaceted updates led by Wellpoint, we expect to provide users with a differentiated policy experience,” adding, “We will actively create various opportunities to enable many citizens to participate directly or indirectly in the journey to enhance the connectivity of fragmented information and increase the value of policy data.”
