Samlip received the Grand Prize in the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) category at the 'Korea PR Awards' for its 'Authentic Cream Bread 60th Anniversary Campaign.'
The Korea PR Awards is a PR award established in 1993 that honors outstanding PR activities and related practitioners, aiming to enhance the value of PR, expand the PR industry, and improve the quality of PR activities.
The Authentic Cream Bread 60th Anniversary Campaign was conducted to convey the heritage and diverse appeal of authentic cream bread to the MZ generation on the occasion of its 60th anniversary. It provided new experiences to enjoy authentic cream bread through ▲ fun-sumer marketing (Cream Daebbang) ▲ pop-up store (Cream Atelier) ▲ and the launch of new products at Cream Atelier.
This campaign was evaluated to have contributed to about a 60% year-on-year growth in sales of authentic cream bread in the first half of the year and to strengthening the brand's competitiveness.
Authentic Cream Bread is Samlip's representative steady seller. It is the first product in the domestic baking industry to introduce vinyl packaging technology and has recorded cumulative sales of 1.9 billion units since its launch in 1964. It has been officially certified by the KRI Korea Records Institute and the World Record Committee (WRC) in the United States as the 'best-selling single brand cream bread (retail sector, cumulative)' for the past 10 years.
