Veloc announced on the 26th that it has signed a contract to implement the information security regulation management solution ‘B-CMS’ for domestic global trading company A.
This order marks Veloc's first B-CMS supply contract for a private company. Through this supply contract, Veloc will provide a customized B-CMS tailored to company A. This will serve as a starting point for expanding the application areas of B-CMS in the future.
After independently developing B-CMS in 2022, Veloc completed product verification by obtaining the Grade 1 Good Software (GS) certification from the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA). The GS certification evaluates software based on international standards in terms of △functional suitability △performance efficiency △usability △reliability △security, with higher grades indicating better quality. Leveraging its excellent product competitiveness, Veloc is currently supplying B-CMS to public institutions, including power plants.
B-CMS is a system that supports effective management and operation of information security regulations for companies and institutions. It is characterized by its ability to comprehensively manage various elements in the information security field, including not only laws and security regulations but also △audits △evaluations △systems △security tasks. By adopting B-CMS, security tasks can be optimized, enabling the efficient establishment of a security framework.
A Veloc representative said, “We were highly evaluated for holding the GS certification and references for supply to power plants, which led to the signing of this supply contract,” adding, “The new order for company A is significant as it represents a successful diversification of B-CMS’s customer base, which had previously been focused mainly on public institutions such as power plants.”
He continued, “With the recent advancement of security threat technologies, security regulations are continuously being strengthened,” and added, “When applying Veloc’s B-CMS, it is possible to efficiently respond to security audits from various security certification and supervisory agencies, so we expect an expansion in solution supply.”
