Doosan Logistics Solution (DLS) has surpassed 100 billion KRW in a single order amount for the first time since its establishment.

On the 26th, DLS announced that it had secured the contract for the new construction project of the Daiso Sejong Online Center to be built within the Sejong Smart Green Industrial Complex in Sejong Special Self-Governing City. The contract amount is approximately 110 billion KRW, with completion scheduled for 2027.

This order, recognized for the expertise and competitiveness of its logistics automation solutions, is a Daiso-related project following the Daiso Sejong Hub Center, and is the largest single order amount in the company's history.

The Sejong Online Center will have a total floor area of 35,570㎡ (approximately 10,760 pyeong) and consist of three above-ground floors, serving as a logistics base for the Daiso online mall capable of processing up to 45,000 orders per day.

DLS will provide an integrated supply of the entire logistics automation solution process, including design, engineering-related consulting, advanced automation equipment supply, software construction, and maintenance. In particular, by integrating hardware and software with the Daiso Sejong Hub Center being built right next door, it plans to enhance inventory management and operational efficiency.

DLS plans to supply advanced technologies and products to the Sejong Online Center, including ▲Knapp's OSR Shuttle ▲Pick-it-Easy (GTP) Station (Goods to Person Station) ▲Warehouse Control System (WCS).

DLS will supply the OSR Shuttle, which operates automatically at a world-class speed of 5 meters per second and transports goods. It can move items weighing up to 30 kg and applies precise shuttle software capable of arranging boxes considering the order sequence.

When the OSR Shuttle is linked with the GTP system, goods dispatched from the shuttle are automatically delivered to workers at the GTP Station, improving picking efficiency and worker convenience. The GTP Station is an ergonomically designed workstation that can be supplied in forms optimized for various fields such as manufacturing, fashion, and retail, and is easy to operate, resulting in high job satisfaction. The largest GTP Station in a single logistics center in Korea is expected to be supplied to the Daiso Sejong Online Center.

DLS's independently developed WCS is real-time integrated control software that encompasses various facilities within the logistics center, optimizing logistics flow and maximizing logistics efficiency as a core operational technology. For example, goods located on different floors can be moved into one box simultaneously for efficient delivery.

A DLS official said, "By consecutively securing projects from Daiso, we were able to once again prove the competitiveness of DLS's logistics solutions," adding, "We will build logistics automation solutions with the highest quality and use this order as a stepping stone for future large-scale contracts." He continued, "As DLS continues to secure orders not only in distribution but also recently in various industries such as pharmaceuticals and manufacturing, we plan to continuously expand our business areas."
