24-Hour Operation at Terminal 2 Passenger Terminal
Korean Air is resuming its free coat storage service for passengers during the winter season.
Korean Air announced on the 26th that it will restart this 'Coat Room Service' from next month 1st until February 28th of next year.
The Coat Room Service is a customer-tailored service that has been offered every winter since 2005. It is available to anyone who purchases an international flight ticket departing from Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 on Korean Air.
Passengers can store one coat per person free of charge for up to 5 days (including the day of deposit). After that, a storage fee of 2,500 KRW per day applies. Additional storage fees can also be paid using Korean Air Skypass mileage (350 miles per day).
This year, since the consignment location differs before and after the expansion construction of Terminal 2 is completed, passengers should familiarize themselves with the locations in advance. Before the expansion opening, coats can be deposited by showing the boarding pass at the Hanjin Express consignment desk near K counters on the 3rd floor after check-in. After the expansion opening, coats should be consigned at the Hanjin Express consignment desk near A counters on the 3rd floor.
First class, Prestige class passengers, and SkyTeam 'Elite Plus' members can use the Coat Room Service at counter C36 before the expansion opening and at counter A32 after the expansion opening.
Coats can be picked up at the Hanjin Express store next to Hana Bank on the east side of the basement 1st floor of Terminal 2, both before and after the expansion opening.
The service is available 24 hours, but counters C36/A32 operate from 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM. Outside of counter hours, passengers can use the Hanjin Express consignment desk and store.
A Korean Air official stated, "This year as well, we will entrust the service to a professional company with expertise in garment care to carefully manage passengers' coats to prevent contamination and deformation, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction."
