Air Busan to Operate Irregular Flights Between Busan and Boracay Kalibo

From December 25, Twice a Week; 90%+ Load Factor on Irregular Flights in July-August

Air Busan will operate charter flights from Busan to Boracay, Philippines, to meet the demand for winter vacation destinations.


Air Busan (CEO Doo Seong-guk) announced on the 26th that it will operate charter flights on the Busan-Boracay route twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) from the 25th of next month until March 1st of next year.


The Air Busan Busan-Boracay flight schedule departs from Gimhae International Airport at 9:05 PM and arrives at the local airport at 12:10 AM the next day. The return flight departs from the local airport at 1:05 AM and arrives at Gimhae International Airport at 6:20 AM. The flight time is approximately 4 hours and 5 minutes, and tickets can be purchased on the Air Busan website.


Boracay Island in the Philippines, a representative Southeast Asian vacation spot, boasts emerald-colored seas and fine white sands, including the world’s top three beaches, "White Beach," and "Puka Shell Beach." Especially, it offers various leisure sports such as snorkeling and surfing, making it a consistently popular destination for couples and family travelers. During the Air Busan Busan-Boracay charter flights operated in July and August, the load factor recorded was in the low 90% range.


An Air Busan official stated, “We will continue efforts to diversify routes and expand our international network through charter flights considering seasonal demand.”
