Creating a New Paradigm for AI and Design Convergence... Ulsan Design Innovation Forum Held

A design innovation forum exploring a new paradigm through the convergence of artificial intelligence and design will be held in Ulsan.

Ulsan City announced that on the 26th at 3 p.m., the "2024 Ulsan Design Innovation Forum" will be held at the Cheongun Dormitory International Hall of Ulsan University.

This forum is hosted by the Korea Institute of Design Promotion and organized by the Ulsan Design-Driven Manufacturing Innovation Center, with about 120 participants including public institutions and company officials. The event provides a platform to explore new possibilities through sharing expert knowledge and collaboration on the theme of the convergence of design and AI.

The forum will consist of a keynote speech, thematic lectures, meetings with speakers, and an exhibition of the 2024 design support project achievements, addressing in-depth discussions and practical insights on the convergence of AI and design.

In the keynote speech, Professor Na Geon from Hongik University will present on the topic "Design Directions for the Future of Ulsan."

Following this, thematic lectures will be given by Professor Lee Dan-bi of Hoseo University on "Integration of AI and 3D Software," CEO Joo Han-sang of GOS Seoul Co., Ltd. on "Processes Applying AI Technology Design," and CEO Lee Soon-young of Risofe & Co International on "CMF Data Digital Sample System."

During the meeting with speakers, Professor Lim Sun-hee of Ulsan University will moderate, and speakers and attendees will share useful information on how to apply design and AI in business and practical work.

Seung-dae Ahn, Deputy Mayor of Ulsan City, said, "I hope this forum will re-examine the value of design and AI and contribute to creating new jobs and revitalizing the local economy through support projects for local companies, women, and youth in Ulsan."
