Inspection Completed at 38 Locations with Experts in Automobile Maintenance and Sales
Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang Special City, Gyeonggi Province announced on the 25th that it has completed the inspection and supervision of automobile management businesses for the 4th quarter of 2024.
The inspection conducted in November this year targeted a total of 38 automobile management businesses, and was jointly carried out by district office officials along with experts from the Northern Gyeonggi Automobile Repair Business Association and the Gyeonggi Automobile Sales Association, among others.
The inspection results showed overall compliance with the Automobile Management Act, but some violations were detected, including △ failure to report business suspension or closure △ failure to transmit data to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's electronic system. On-site guidance will be provided and actions will be taken according to relevant laws.
Kim Chang-hyun, Director of the Transportation Administration Division, stated, “We will conduct inspections to ensure that businesses comply with the Automobile Management Act to prevent complaints in advance and strive to secure the safety of citizens.”
