This special exhibition was prepared to celebrate author Han Kang as the first Asian woman and the first Korean to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature, and to widely promote the author's literary world to students and local residents.
The special exhibition will be held in the lobby on the 4th floor of Yangju City Hall and at 10 locations of Yangju City Library.
Seventeen works representing author Han Kang's literary world, including her representative works "The Vegetarian" and "The Boy is Coming," will be exhibited, and any visitor can read the works within the facilities.
A library official said, "We hope this special exhibition of author Han Kang will create an active reading atmosphere and be an opportunity to celebrate author Han Kang, who has demonstrated the international status and achievements of Korean literature."
